NOTH BAY – An exhaustive search of Peppertree Village has failed to find any sort of peppertree.
The investigation, led by renowned detective Angie Poiret, cost $480 000.
“I can confirm that there is no peppertree in Peppertree Village,” says Poiret.
“There’s gossip, controversy, domestic squabbles, Dan who keeps parking on John’s lawn, and a blatant disregard for the rules of properly sorting recycling – but no tree.”
The search took over three years.
A Commitment
“Yes, yes, the search… it did take some time,” reveals Poiret.
Poiret’s hands shake.
“I… I spent three years of my life in Peppertree Village – searching, questioning, digging. Three years away from my husband, my family. And for what? FOR WHAT?”
Village Value
“Peppertrees aren’t even native to this area!” continues Poiret. “Why would there be one in North Bay, and more to the point, why would there be one in North Bay, on Lakeshore Drive, in a housing complex?”
“Who even paid for this investigation?”
Peppertree Village resident Kitty Thompson says that “while Angie found nothing” that “there’s still some good to come out of it.”
“We can use this here news article to tell all of North Bay all the great things Peppertree Village has to offer,” says Thompson. “So why not stop by and pick up some quality Scentsy, Arbonne, Mary Kay, Monat, Herbalife, and Primerica products today!”
