NORTH BAY — After voting 9-2 in favour of a 5.86 percent tax increase for the City of North Bay, all twelve City Councillors, along with senior staff representing North Bay Police Services, North Bay Fire and Emergency Services, and City Public Works and Services, voted unanimously to take a 5.86 percent pay cut to “stand in solidarity with the average North Bay citizen.”

Just kidding. They’re all still getting fully paid, and 167 of them are on the Sunshine List.
