New On-Demand App Causes Some Happy Confusions

NORTH BAY – With winter right around the corner, many are looking for ways to avoid having to clear snow.  This new all purpose on-demand service app has you covered.

“We were looking around, and there were home projects being put off and half-finished.  Not even to mention snow removal that just goes ignored during the winter,” says Jordan Smalls.

“I know enough warm bodies that have free time on their hands and just want to help.  So, we started an ‘On Demand’ handyman app: HandiJob©️.”

Doing it Together

Jordan Smalls, owner of local business Property Paraphernalia, partnered with a local programmer to develop the HandiJob©️ app.

“Our market was clear: if you need to be plowed, have your pistons maintained or your hammer polished, we will have a HandiPerson©️ for that,” explains app developer Shannon Colette.

While HandiJob©️ had a roster of HandiPeople©️ going into the test launch, there was quickly a misunderstanding.

“I got a notification on the app listed as ‘Pipe Maintenance,’” says Bernie Fornier, a HandiJob©️ HandiMan©️. “So I showed up and the fellow there was asking me to jerk him off!  I was shocked… But, like, 20 bucks is 20 bucks.”

Possible Pimps Pull Plug

Through different stories, it appears that many of the more horny North Bayites thought that the HandiJob©️ app was more of a Tinder©️ type of On-Demand application.

Smalls was quick to end the trial and to go back to the drawing board.

“I thought this is what Smalls wanted when he came to me with an idea called HandiJob©️,” explains developer Colette. “But I guess he just wasn’t ready to become a pimp yet.”

Smalls and Colette plan on launching a new app in time for winter called GetPlowed©️.
